Gina Bakery began as a two-month pop-up opened by renowned chef Hans Välimäki and Maria von Graevenitz-Välimäki. What started as a temporary project quickly gained attention for its handcrafted baked goods and passion for creating memorable food experiences.

the BRIEF

A limited run with no second chances.

A pop up lives or dies in its first days. The bakery had a famous parentage, handmade focaccia and croissants, and a short window to turn a quiet address into the most talked about counter in Helsinki.

The Date supported Gina Bakery with activations and social media marketing planned end to end: opening content, story and timing,  a TikTok led social presence that turned the morning bake into daily theatre.

The best marketing in hospitality is invisible by the end. Guests believe they discovered the room themselves, and the city believes it was always talking about it. Only two parties ever know how it really started.

This story, too,
began with a date.

Every engagement in the house began the same way: a venue with ambition and a conversation without obligation. Ask how this case was built, what it required, and what a similar path could look like for your rooms.
