Restaurant & Hotel
PR & Communications

Everything said about the brand by someone other than the brand. We pitch and place stories across Nordic media — openings, chef and hotelier profiles, awards, anniversaries — and manage communications when it matters most. Coverage is earned, not bought, so the work runs on relationships, timing and stories genuinely worth printing.

Nobody Writes About You?

Good venues are not automatically good stories.
Editors do not cover quality; they cover stories. A venue can be excellent for years and unwritten-about for the same years, because excellence alone gives a journalist nothing to print.

Press works on relationships you don't have time to build.
Coverage follows trust built over years of accurate pitches and honest access. An owner running services cannot also maintain a press network — and a cold email to an editor rarely survives the morning.

Timing is everything, and it is unforgiving.
The same story lands or dies by its moment: season, news cycle, an editor's calendar. Announce the opening a week late and the coverage belongs to someone else's opening.

We decide what the story is?

The house finds the story before the city does — the angle in the opening, the chef, the anniversary, the award — and places it where it counts, through relationships maintained across Nordic food, travel and business media. Announcements are timed to land, journalists get access worth their trip, and coverage arrives on your schedule rather than by accident. When the story is difficult, we manage that too: quickly, honestly and with the long term in mind.
92%
of people trust earned recommendations over advertising. A printed story outweighs any ad with the same message.
1
story at the right moment — an opening, an award, a chef — can carry a season. We make sure the moment is not missed.
FAQ

Before You Ask

What does hospitality PR include?

Story development and pitching, press relations across Nordic food, travel and business media, opening and award campaigns, chef and hotelier profiles, press events and dinners, and communications support when a difficult story needs managing. Earned coverage, planned like a campaign.

Can you guarantee press coverage?

No honest PR practice can — editors decide what they print. What we control is everything before that decision: the strength of the story, the quality of the pitch, the relationship and the timing. Controlled well, coverage follows far more often than not.

When should PR start for an opening?

Six to eight weeks before the doors open, minimum — long-lead media need more. Press works on calendars, and the difference between coverage on opening week and coverage a month later is usually when the first email went out.

Do you handle negative situations?

Yes. Reviews go wrong, incidents happen, stories turn. We advise quickly and honestly — what to say, what not to, and when — with the brand's long-term standing weighing more than the week's headline.

How is PR different from influencer marketing?

PR earns editorial coverage — journalists, guides, awards — where credibility is highest and nothing is paid for placement. Influencer work is a commissioned collaboration with creators. The two reinforce each other, and the house runs both under one story.

Opening a restaraunt, or hotel?

The most expensive marketing mistake in hospitality is made before the doors open.
An opening happens once. We help founders, hotel groups and chains get it right the first time. Testing the concept against the real market, studying the audience and the neighbourhood, sharpening positioning and pricing, and building anticipation months before launch.
