Salutorget occupies a former banking hall on Pohjoisesplanadi, in the 1830s Brofeldt house. Marble floors, grand columns and the Rahapuu stained glass make it one of Helsinki's most storied rooms.

the BRIEF

A historic hall reduced to a listing online.

The room stops guests mid step, yet its previous digital presence carried little of the marble, the light or the history. Signature offerings such as afternoon tea and the private cabinets deserved to be discovered, not stumbled upon.

Our house designed and built a website that mirrors the interior: its palette, details and calm. Search work places Salutorget first for its signatures, from afternoon tea to meetings and celebrations held in historic settings above the Market Square.

The best marketing in hospitality is invisible by the end. Guests believe they discovered the room themselves, and the city believes it was always talking about it. Only two parties ever know how it really started.
